  • No-cost introductory course offered winter/spring 2024

    The following four-credit course will be offered this year at no cost to students, with tuition and fees funded by the Grow Your Own Teacher grant.

    ED-101 INTRO ED PRACTICUM AND SEMINAR

    This seminar presents critical topics associated with the Education profession. Each topic will be introduced with an understanding that future Education classes will expand student comprehension and knowledge to a mastery level. Students are also required to participate in a 60 -hour practicum experience in a K-12 school to provide the opportunity to gain experience with the various educational issues discussed in class. A student petition is required for this course.

    The class will be offered in winter and spring terms 2024:

    • Winter term begins Jan. 8, 2024
    • Spring term begins April 1, 2024

Our Early Childhood Education degree program has articulation agreements with Portland State University, Oregon State University and Southern Oregon University. The Oregon Transfer degree (AAOT) is accepted at all public and private universities in Oregon.
